Pierre Tredoux (CA (SA)) has extensive experience in the management of a large professional services business and has been providing advisory services to leading organisations in South Africa for more than 22 years. He was the CEO of one of the country’s leading consulting businesses for 6 years and a partner in a global consulting firm for 11 years. He has been a board member Deloitte & Touche in South Africa and of their Private Client Wealth Management joint venture with Citadel. He is currently the Chairperson of Atterbury Properties, the country’s largest privately owned property developer.
Patricia Makhesha (DBA) has 17 years experience in Transformation & Communications. Dr Makhesha is a full member of the Prestigious Women's Room - Konrad Adenauer Foundation and a member of the Young Women's Academy. She won the Women in Water Award for 2005, in the category of Policy and Management. She is also the youngest board member of the Rand Water Board and TCTA - Trans Caledon Tunnel Authority. She was also a volunteer Africa Regional Director and an award winner of Women in Water 2005 Policy and Management.
Jacques Mulder (D. Compt.) has accumulated significant merchant banking and corporate treasury management experience through various local and international financial institutions. He has been instrumental in establishing and managing one of the country’s largest outsourced treasury management operations. In recent years he specialised in assisting large multinational companies to design and implement world-class financial management services.
Conrad Steyn (B.Eng. (cum laude), MBA) is the Barnstone Director of Business Application and Information Services. Conrad established and managed one of the largest application maintenance outsourcing support centers in South Africa, providing global support for an international mining and resources company. He has worked extensively in the mining and resource industry, and in the manufacturing, beverages and pharmaceutical sectors.
Conrad has extensive business re-engineering experience and was formerly a senior partner at Deloitte Consulting. He specialised in operational and performance improvement, and spearheaded an initiative to build the application maintenance outsourcing capability in that company. Major clients included BHP Billiton, Mittal Steel, Anglo American
Lizelle Pauw (B.Com) heads up Barnstone's Mining and Resources sector. She is responsible for new business and client relationships across the sector. Ensuring that clients receive top-quality service delivery is a particular passion of hers. She played a key role in developing the Barnstone Mining Solution and its implmentation methodology, and led the first implementations of the solution. The Mining Solution is a pre-configured version of SAP All-in-One enterprise resource planning software for mid-cap mining companies.
Deon Crafford (MA) has been involved in management consulting for more than 17 years. He played an active role in the transformation of the military services in South Africa during democratic transition. He was also a partner in a leading global consulting firm for 6 years where he established and managed a substantial Human Capital practice. As a globally appointed partner he has worked with a variety of blue chip multinationals in the private sector and with the larger state owned enterprises. His areas of specialisation includes strategy, organisation design, corporate governance, merger integration, organisation and business transformation and leadership development and effectiveness.
Zola Ntolosi (MBA, GIBS - Strategy Execution) Zola’s skill-set includes strong strategy development and implementation, project management, high-level advisory skills, workforce mapping as well as organisational design and stakeholder relations.
Acting upon his prior experience playing an integral part of government initiatives to ensure efficiency at an inter-agency level and reduction of maladministration, namely to the Minister of Finance and the Anti-Corruption Task Team (ACTT), Zola has now moved into the role of Director at Barnstone where he is responsible for Fraud Risk Services and the growth of Barnstone’s product offering, Oversight’ Systems, an instrument of choice for reducing risks associated with control weakness and fraud / corruption. Zola is currently managing the implementation of Oversight within the South African Revenue Services (SARS) for its continuous transaction risk monitoring abilities.
Johann van Tonder (B.Sc) is experienced in the cost effective management of large Information Technology environments specialising in SAP, application management outsourcing, process improvement and call centres. With more than 15 years of IT management experience, Johann is skilled at managing high-performance teams as well as the effective utilisation of tools to improve efficiency. Johann has designed measurable outsourced solutions aligned with business drivers for a variety of clients.
